.Net Core Developer - 6 months renewable contract - Singapore



Job Description:

As a .Net Developer, you will play a key role in the development and maintenance of our software applications. You will be responsible for designing, coding, and testing high-performance applications using .NET technologies, including .NET Core 6/8 and .NET Framework 4.8. In addition, you will be expected to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including DevOps Engineers, to deliver software solutions that adhere to micro-services architecture principles.



Responsibilities:

  • Strong programming experience in C# to develop efficient and maintainable code.
  • Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs for seamless communication between software components.
  • Utilize Core software technologies, including C# and HTML, to build robust applications.
  • Develop applications using .NET Core 6/8 and .NET Framework 4.8, ensuring compatibility and efficiency.
  • Work with various data storage technologies, such as PostgreSQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch (experience with Elasticsearch is a plus).
  • Utilize Kafka MQ for messaging and data streaming solutions.
  • Create Web API components using .NET Core Web API for back-end services.
  • Utilize tools like Atlassian (Jira, Confluence) and Git for effective collaboration and version control.



Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong programming experience in C# and a deep understanding of .NET technologies.
  • Experience in DevOps engineering and integrating DevOps practices into the software development process.
  • Proven experience in designing and developing REST APIs.
  • Familiarity with micro-services architecture and its implementation.
  • Proficiency in Core software, including C# and HTML.
  • Hands-on experience with .NET Core 6/8 and .NET Framework 4.8.
  • Knowledge of data storage solutions like PostgreSQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch (experience with Elasticsearch is a plus).
  • Experience with Kafka MQ for messaging and data streaming.
  • Proficiency in building Web API components using .NET Core Web API.
  • Front-end development experience with Asp.net MVC, React, and Blazor Web-Assembly (experience with Blazor Web-Assembly is a plus).
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools like Atlassian (Jira, Confluence) and Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for staying updated with industry trends.
